Children's Treatments

At Pulse Practice, we offer gentle, age-appropriate osteopathic care for children, and adolescents. Treatments are tailored to each stage of development and delivered in a calm, supportive environment — with parents fully involved every step of the way.

Osteopathic treatment for children focuses on supporting healthy movement, comfort, and physical development using gentle, hands-on techniques. Every child is assessed individually, and treatment is always adapted to suit their needs, age, and tolerance.

Ear Treatments

Excess ear wax in children, also known as an impaction, can cause mild to moderate symptoms. If your child can communicate, they’ll be able to describe some of these symptoms. For much younger children, it’s helpful to be aware of the typical signs of an ear wax build-up, which can include:

• Trouble hearing – are you having to repeat things consistently?

• Itchiness – you may see children trying to scratch their ears to relieve the itch

• A feeling of fullness – some children pull or tug at their ears to stop the discomfort

• Ear ache – too much ear wax in children can put pressure on the eardrum resulting, in ear ache

• A build-up of ear wax in children may subside by itself as the body’s natural processes remove it. If the symptoms persist though, children’s ear wax removal can help clear the impaction.

Foot Treatment and Orthotics

At Pulse Practice Foot Care, we are able to provide foot care treatments for children for a range of conditions such as Verrucas, Athletes Foot and more.

We are also able to provide custom orthotic  that will boost your child's foot alignment, improve their comfort and reduce the risk of foot injuries or pain.

We offer one-on-one service that takes care of everything from checking if you need orthotics or not to the creation of your custom orthotic inserts. Leave everything to us!
